Cinemas in Madrid

Madrid has a brilliant reputation in terms of cultural agenda. Bustling museums and theatres spread throughout the city; if you are in Madrid there is always something to do. Regarding cinemas, variety of films is second to none. From mainstream to alternative, if it is not in Madrid, you won’t find it elsewhere. From latest Hollywood blockbuster to unique independent masterpieces which may have been on screen for a few years, you will not have enough evenings to watch them all.

Although films in Spain are mainly dubbed, there are many cinemas where you can watch films in their original language, usually named by letters V.O (version original). If you want to practice your English by watching a film in the cinema, you are likely to find many films in Shakespeare’s language. Films change weekly on Fridays.
