We make decisions every day. Each of us react differently to different situations and knowing ourselves more enables us to make decisions that are best for us and those around us.

According to the article, we must take into account three tips in order to make a decision:

1. Do not react instinctively and only make it when you can think clearly and reflectively.
2. Think about the futures consequences of the decision.
3. Assure that the decision made is according to your values.

In my opinion these advices are useful to avoid committing mistakes, but I must say that, from time to time, making some bad decision listening to you desire and not to your brain can help us to enjoy the present. At the end of the day, we are humans, and not robots…

You are right when you say making bad decisions is part of human nature. We have to keep trying making good decisions but also learn from our mistakes.
