1. What are ways for companies to ensure information security?
One way to ensure information security is by implementing strict access controls. This means only authorized personnel have access to certain data and systems. Regularly updating software and hardware is another way to prevent breaches. Companies should also conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and address them promptly.

2. Could you recall a related story about information breach?
I remember reading about a major credit reporting agency that suffered a massive data breach in 2017. The breach affected millions of consumers and exposed their personal information, including social security numbers and addresses. It was a wake-up call for many people who realized how vulnerable their personal information can be.

3. If you were in the writer’s shoes, what would you do or think at that moment?
If I accidentally heard something confidential about a company, first thing that would come to mind is to ignore it and continue with my day. But actually, one may want to think about the potential consequences of both reporting and not reporting the information they overheard. It’s also important to consider one´s own values and how they align with the situation at hand.

You are able to write very well. Keep up the impressive job in your writing practice.

Here is one sentence you can improve by using another expression so you don’t use the same word ‘reporting’ in one sentence:

But actually, one may want to think about the potential consequences of both reporting and not reporting the information they overheard.

But actually, one may want to think about the potential consequences of both reporting and keeping mum about the information they may have overheard.

Excellently well done!

1. What are ways for companies to ensure information security?
Back up data, use strong passwords, have antivirus on computers, be suspicious of weird emails and secure the network for when working from outside the office

2. Could you recall a related story about information breach?
I personally have seen several cases, every time it was while I was going to the office on the train. On that train, since the journey lasts an hour, almost everyone usually works on their laptops or smartphones and I have come to listen to telephone conversations with a lot of information that the public should not know.

3. If you were in the writer’s shoes, what would you do or think at that moment?
Every time I see a case of information breach I think about the ways that it could be prevented and how my own company should protect itself against these cases, giving training and warning of the risks at least

Nice work with your writing practice.

Here is a sentence you can improve a bit more:

Every time I see a case of information breach I think about the ways that it could be prevented and how my own company should protect itself against these cases, giving training and warning of the risks at least

Every time I see a case of information breach, I think about the ways that it could have been prevented and how my own company could protect itself from these cases, by giving training and warning about the risks at least.

Keep up the good job!
