A coordinating conjunction joins parts of a sentence that are grammatically equal or similar. Also known as coordinators, coordinating conjunctions are used to give equal emphasis to a pair of main clauses.<\/p>\n

Coordinating conjunctions are:<\/p>\n

\nI go to the mall, for I love to shop.<\/p>\n

\nThe bowl of stew is hot and delicious.<\/p>\n
