Noun clause is a dependent clause<\/strong> that functions as a noun<\/strong> in a sentence. These noun clauses can serve as the direct object of the verb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noun clause as a direct object implies that it is the direct recipient of the action of the verb. In this structure, transitive verbs<\/strong> are used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Normally, noun clauses start with subordinating conjunctions<\/strong> such as that, how, what, whatever, when, where, whether, which, who, whoever, whom<\/em> and why<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tips:
<\/strong>Object noun clause is not separated<\/strong> from the rest of the sentence by a comma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In interrogative <\/strong>sentences, do not<\/strong> place the verb before the subject<\/strong> in a noun clause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
