Something <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">must be said<\/span> to her.<br \/>\nThe criminal is very elusive he <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">can&#8217;t be caught<\/span>.<br \/>\nHe asked everyone to leave. He <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">wanted to be left<\/span> alone.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After <em>should have, might have, would have, seem to have, etc.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>active: eaten =&gt; Somebody <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">might have eaten<\/span> the cake.<\/p>\n<p>passive: been eaten =&gt; The cake <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">might have been eaten<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Examples:<\/p>\n<p>If you had locked the door, nothing <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">would have been stolen<\/span>.<br \/>\nThe casino\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">will not be opened<\/span> until further notice.<br \/>\nThe impact of the typhoon is devastating. They <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">had been picked<\/span> too soon.<br \/>\nThis book was bought a year ago but it <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">hadn&#8217;t been read<\/span>.<br \/>\nTheir house was very old but <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">had not been renovated<\/span>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Present Continuous<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>active: is\/are\/am eating =&gt; Somebody <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">is eating<\/span> the cake at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>passive: is\/are\/am being eaten =&gt; The cake <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">is being eaten<\/span> at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>Examples:<\/p>\n<p>Her boyfriend isn&#8217;t faithful.
