Lifeguards are people who help people who have problems while swimming in the water on a pool or on the beach. They have a lot of training so they can do their jobs rescuing people very well.

In Australia, lifeguards started using drones to help them save people who are drowning.

1. Drones could be a great tool for rescuing people, not only in the water, but also on other situations in which other tools could be useful, for example a fire extinguisher or oxygen tanks for someone trapped on a building on fire. Drones can be deployed very quickly and reach locations that a human could not reach fast enough. I don’t see relevant disadvantages.
2. I have a drone for entertainment purposes, I like RC toys in general. It may be a toy, but it can also be dangerous. If you hit someone with it, or it is dropped from the air, it could injure a person.
3. Drones can be faster than any other tripulares vehicle, so they can be really useful in situations in which a rapid reaction is crucial. Also, they are good for surveillance and security purposes.
4. I avoid deep waters, so I can always use my feet. I also avoid swimming alone.
5. Never that I could remember.
