There are a lot of types of milkshakes. They could be from very healthy to very caloric and unhealthy. It will depend on the ingredients that they include. I like preparing homemade milkshakes at home using vegetable milks and frozen fruits.
Freakshakes seem too much to me. Probably they are very tasty and something to try some time. I do not really like too sweet food, but I would share it with someone.
2. Should calorie information be on restaurant menus?
I believe that calorie information should be available on the menus for the users that would like to know. Most important, I would really appreciate that the legislation obligate restaurants to list the ingredients and allergens of all the food they serve, for health and security purposes.

I do not recall a super absurd food in my country. I remember that an all-you-can-eat restaurant used to serve Nutella pizza though. I think that any other dough with Nutella on top would be tastier and nicer, but the pizza was more surprising I guess.
