When I go out, for protect my apartment I don’t do a special things. I close all the windows and I close the door with a key.

The main thing I do to protect my apartment is not very especial, I always close the door with the key even if I am inside of it. In addition, when I open the street door I wait until it is closed to take the elevator, just to make sure that noone else came into the building. Finally, we look always through the door’s peephole before open it to anyone to make sure we are not open it to any strange people.

Actually, I do not have any of those systems to protect my house. Nowadays, I am living in a flat and maybe it is fake, but I feel safely. However, in the future (I hope soon), I would like to live in a house and in that case I will put a motion detector to protect my dwelling. Having a dog would be also a good option for my (in addition to the motion detector), but it is not for my partner, so I thing is unlikely.

When I am at home and someone call to the automatic intercom, even if I am not waiting anyone, I always answer to it. The reason is that I want to make sure that in case the person who is calling is a thief, they will be inform that I am at home.

Nothing really, family pictures maybe. But as We do not own anything valuable like jewelry, then I think burglers might get angry with us.

1. At this moment in my current house I have two latches in the principal door. The windows that is easier to enter from the exterior have bars. The third thing that I do is when I return very late I try to wait until the automatic door of the car park are closed.
2. In my house I don’t have any type of system like this but my parents have an alarm with motion detection because one summer someone tried to enter into their house but they couldn’t do it because one neighbour heard the noise and the thieves needed to escape.
3. I think that the cameras are very well to protect your home and if you have a house with a garden probably is important to have trained dogs that bark at people that they don’t know.
Another thing that is important to do is not open the door with the automatic intercom if you don’t know the person that talk in the other side.
