Siblings play a unique role in one another’s lives. Because siblings often grow up in the same household, they have a large amount of exposure to one another. Only, people with sisters are said to be more optimistic than those with brothers or without any siblings. What’s your opinion?

1- Yes, I agree. I have a sister and a brother, and it is as it says in the study.
2- The sister is more sensitive than the brother, so she creates moments of conversation and builds better relationships.
3- I am the oldest brother of three brothers, and I always tried to guide and advise them as best as possible.
4- I am generally positive and kind, but my sister helps a lot to make that happen.
5- By encouraging them to be positive, talk to each other a lot, and be kind to each other.

1. Do you agree with the study?
I agree that women are more likely to talk about their feelings than men. What I don’t know if it is because their own nature, or just because of the social customs that are widely implemented in the society. Anyway I agree that been able to speak to others about your own feelings is very beneficial.
2. Tell me about your brother/sister. How has your relationship changed since childhood?
I have a sister who is nearly my age, and a brother and a sister who are much younger than me. My relationship with the first one has bee always good and we are very good friends. Mi relationship with my other siblings was prior a maternal relationship, now we are also very good friends.
3. What kind of a sibling are you?
I think I am a good sibling. I take care of my siblings and I like to have a good relationship with them.
4. Who always teaches you to be positive and kinder?
I’m not sure that my sisters have teached me to be positive and kínder always, but they have always supported me when I have needed.
5. As a parent/future parent, how can you encourage and promote a healthy sibling relationship with your children?
I’m very proud of my relationship with my siblings. I think that it is very important that parents teach their children to trust and support their siblings.
