1. Do you agree or disagree: “Marriage is good for our health”?
I think it depends on the marriage. Healthy marriages where partners support each other and share responsibilities can bring peace and reduce stress levels. However, not all marriages are like that. Couples going through difficult times may experience higher stress and cortisol levels because the relationship is not in a good place.

2. In your opinion or own experience, how do intimate social relationships influence one’s health and diseases?
I believe they can have an impact, especially in extreme cases. For example, having a bad relationship with a boss who puts a lot of pressure on you can definitely affect your mental health and even your physical health.

3. What are other ways the stress hormones or cortisol can be lowered?
I think doing activities that help you disconnect from daily stress is important, such as exercising or going for a walk. Personally, spending time in nature really helps me relax.

4. In your country, do you think fewer and fewer are getting married? What do you think are the reasons for this?
Yes, it’s clear that fewer people are getting married. I think one reason is that people are more afraid of commitment, because marriage, as I understand it, means dedicating your whole life to someone, and not everyone is willing to do that. Another reason could be that we are increasingly focused on ourselves and our professional future, sometimes leaving our personal life aside. Economic factors also play a role, since weddings are very expensive.
