Even before the alarming concern for treating COVID-19 with the use of household disinfectants, bleach cure has been in practice for some Americans with the belief that ingesting it would cure autism. During the coronavirus pandemic, this became even more common due to a suggestion by then US president Donald Trump that bleach could possibly treat COVID.

Any so odd and dangerous like drinking bleach. I cannot remember about treatments but I do remember about irregular materials or objects for alternative masks.

They could inform in the media about their correct use, their purpose and their dangers.
3. What additional precautionary measures should companies implement to prevent this intentional ingesting of household disinfectants?
They should use visible, understandable and simple signals regarding how dangerous a product is and explain it in its label.
4. What hazardous household products do you have at home? What have you noticed about their warning signs?
The only hazardous product I use in home is bleach. I have replaced the rest of the cleaning products with more natural and less abrasive solutions such as vinegar and bicarbonate. The bottle has some warning signs but too small.
