I’m actulay living in costal area.
We have to reduce de extreme fishing, because it reduce the biodiversity of the sea. I think the fishermen have to not to fish by plundering the sea.
If we don’t take care about the sea, we are lost. We can’t live without the biodiversity of the sea
I never went to snorkeling, but I wish I’ll take some clases in the future. Here we have a caouple of snorkeling scools

Making people more aware I think its the first step, you may think aware of what ? but is as simple as being aware of the need for the preservation of the nature ecosystem and the damage we could make with tiny actions like throwing the bag of some snack in the sand or worst; in the water.

The major part of the oxygen we breath comes from seaweed, also it plays a huge involvement in the nature cycles, and at last but not least marine life is another source of food.

Not in a profesional way but I do had a scuba diving experience when i was younger in Venezuela.

I was visiting a coastal area last summer. my last summer holidays I spent in Cadiz, in a small town in the south of Spain, where there is an especial people.The people, the food, the pescaito, the tabancos, (small bars with live flamenco music) where the you can order wine with tapas. the waiters advise you what kind of wine to drink according to the tapa you choose.

Do not build next to the beach reserving the natural environment.
educate people to keep beaches clean
put more control in the transport of oil with the ships, because then they have accidents, and it is a disaster.

Marine life is like a lung for life.
Nature recycles everything through the sea.
If we do not take care of the sea, we lose a source of life and food.

If I try to snorkel whenever I can, it’s the only sport I do in the water. diving only take a course to get the license, but I do not practice it, at the moment. I prefer practice other sports.

Last summer, I visited the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain.

I think that we can help to preserve the ocean by recycle and reuse in our daily chores, and less plastic in our lives! Donating money to ocean’s cleaning foundation might help as well.

Self preservation might be one point, but to me is important not to loose our humanity! If we, as human beings, do not take care of marine life, how can we expect that we will be taking care of other human lives?

No, I haven’t gone scuba diving or snorkeling. To tell the truth, I’m not a water sports person, sorry.
