What is the best and worst train station you have ever been at? The best station is Grand Central Terminal in New York. I don’t think there is a bad train station since each one has its history and its functionalities.

In Madrid we have two great train station, Atocha and Chamartín. Both are very old, but they are constantly undergoing repairs to make them functional and safe.
How often do workers at the train stations in your country go on strike? Two or three times a year, it is a fact.
Do you enjoy the shops, restaurants, and services located near the train stations? Yes, but they are very expensive and generally full of people.

Despite being living in London I didn’t visit St. Pancras Train Station.

The best train station I have ever been could be Copenaghen train station. I remember it very clean, modern and with clear indications and the worst Bangkok train station. I remembered it crowded and chaotic.

I believe they are quite good taking in account this issues although some of them would need a renovation, like Sants Station in Barcelona.

Yes, I have been in one of the top ten best train stations in Europe. I was in London St Pancras twice. The first time when I did the interrail (20 years ago) and the second time in a travel with my husband (in 2010). It is the most beautiful train station that I’ve ever seen. There is a combination of history and modernization.

The best train station I have ever been is St Pancras station. The worst train station is a station in Lerida (Catalonia, Spain). It didn’t seem very safe.

I think in my country, in general, the access/cleanliness/connectivity/friendliness of staff/platforms are good. And more the bigger the city is.

No, I haven’t been to any of the top ten best train stations in Europe. I have been to train stations in Europe but in Italy, Portugal and Spain.

What is the best and worst train station you have ever been at?
My worst experience in a train station was in Oporto (Portugal). I had to go from Oporto to Lisboa many years ago. The train station was was under renovation and it was not comfortable waiting for the train. When I took with my friend the train to Lisboa. I live my worst experience in the train, because, there was sections of train tracks damaged and we had to down the train and got a bus whit suitecases for three times. It was very umcorfotabble.

The best experiencia was in train station in Roma. We have to back to Roma because we we got the wrong wagon and it took us to the wrong city and then we went to the Trevi’s Fountain again.

I think that the train station Atocha the most important station in Madrid is not friendliness and it’s not accesible for handicapped people. Aditionally, it’s difficult to understand the correct way to the
