A gut feeling is when you feel something about a situation.
I have lots of gut feelings with my family and overall with my children when they are lying, I usually have a gut feeling.
I was working in a construction company. We were constructing a huge building and there were a big team. A teammate never did his work on time and correctly, and always had excuses. I felt that he lied but I was not able to prove. He was fired months later because he was working for another company. My gut feeling came true.
Sometimes gut feelings had helped me when I was hiking in difficult weather conditions.
Firstly I analyze in a rational way the pros and cons. After I talk to people over the issue and then I make the decision. At this moment, I hear my gut feeling.

You gave it your all in answering the questions for this lesson. Good job. It was interesting to know your experience having gut feeling.
