1. How would you define success? How important is success to you?
As the writer points out in his article, success can be different meanings or different concepts for different people. Could be professional success, family success, personal success, or success in relationships with friends o in couples. O, for example, people, can be successful in a specific activity or hobby such as painting, dancing or in sports where on people improve step by sept or achieve their goals or objectives, this means success for them.
2. How do you view failing or losing?
I know, that exists in the sports world a common sentence that says “you have to know how to lose and how to win”. I have lived in the sports world since I was a child and later I know the competitive world of work and business I have to deal with the win and the loss, but I don’t like the word failing, because If someone works hard, honestly with a lot of effort and finally don’t get their goals, for me is not a failing. Could be a deception, but the sports or business world is plenty of opportunities every day, every week, or month and always you have revenge to get the goals that previously you hadn’t gotten.
3. What is your formula or recipe for success?
I think there are different formulas or methods to be successful in life in general or in one or other specific area of our lives. But since I was a child I have heard that a good way to be successful is to work hard, be constant, be patient and do things with good behavior and passion, doesn’t matter the area, sport, business, family, hobbies, I think is important all of the things that I have mentioned, but If you don’t make the things with a positive attitude and passion is difficult to get positive results and be different or extraordinary in whatever area, and finally be successful.
4. What is your biggest success in life?
My biggest success in my life was when I was 24 years old and I was working in a Multinational French Company, focused on the sports world and very much known, it was Decathlon.
I had been working in the company for a year as an operator at the truck unloading dock and months ago that two parts, the company and me had shown our interest in the possibility that I can grow up in the company. And one year after I had begun to work in the company, they offer me, the opportunity to be in charge of a team of about 15 or 20 workers. For me this day, November of 2010 was an incredible day, I remember celebrating with all members of the company in a nice lunch and at night I went to dinner out with my girlfriend at that moment to celebrate too.
5. What part does luck play in success?
I think luck play in success is important, as they say, always to be found and accompanied, with enough quantity of dose of hard work, constancy, and passion.
6. What small wins do you have every day?
If you wake up every day with a positive attitude, a smile, with good behavior, you make your tasks with passion you get small wins every day, in your job, with your family, friends, hobbies, sports, whatever area, and you do your best.
