Technology has come a long way. What once seemed impossible, now seem to be because of all the tools that are available to us. More inventions have been introduced including a new type of robot that can reproduce.

These “living” robots are currently being studied and they provide promising applications in different fields. Despite this, some people are still doubtful about the possibilities these robots can unleash.

What is your opinion on this machine-animal hybrid?
I thought it wasn’t possible yet but according to the article, it is amazing.
I think it is going to be really helpful to do some complex activities how to clean the oceans. So, our environment is affected by waste like plastic, oil, e.g.

What might be the pros and cons of these robots?
the pros that I can see are: technology is developing every day. In the future, we will do more amazing things.
the cons are: researchers need to work a lot going tests with new biobots and see the best ways to improve them.

Where would these robots be most useful?
I think they would be very helpful in medicine, and environmental activities.

Why are some people worried about these robots?
Some people believe they are intelligent and they might do things to hurt us. I think this belief is coming from films, and series.

What are some current applications of robots that are helpful?
a robot vacuum to clean our home’s floor. They are able to pick up the dust, animal hair and even mop the floor.

How should these experiments be monitored and evaluated?
they should test everything. I think that in every release they have to show some reports with those results.
I think that there are some organization decicate to see those results.
