As the own inventor said, such rooms are just a temporary solution. It is true that they can safe lives as they can be set up quickly, just what such a situation would require. But it should be better if people didn’t have to fear for their lives constantly as if they were at war.

2. Do you think bulletproof rooms in schools is the solution to the problem of gun violence in the US? Why or why not?
No, I do not think it is a solution. It is just a way to contain a problem and minimise its consequences, but not a definitive solution. It would worsen the problem or slow it down by creating a false sense of safety.

3. What might be potential negative sides to the bulletproof rooms in schools?
People would think that the problem, the bad use regarding weapons, is solved and then they could act without taking responsibility.

4. Should this idea be a priority for public spending or should funds be used on other things? Explain your opinion.
This idea could be a priority in places with the highest frequency of shots. However, they should invest those funds in general gun education. In a place with such a culture, I don’t think the solution is to ban them, but to teach proper and correct use of them.
