Lucky them!!!, but they spoil their children, maybe right now everything is ok and they can maintain this standard of living, but What will happened in the future?
3. How do private and public school differ in this region?
Even though public schools have enough money, the best education and the best teachers are in the private schools. In the private schools the teachers are more keen in pushing their student to reach their goals.
4. What could be the outcome if this trend continues?
They will have a poor educated and poor prepare male population and, in a country, where traditionally the men rule the country, they probably will need foreign help. It would be a disaster for the country because they will rely in foreign people for take decisions.
5. In your opinion, what measures or changes could help resolve this problem?
I think they have to come back to a system in which only to get if job if you fit in the job posting description, only if you deserve the job. Other thing, like the current system, means to spoil their population and it’s a mistake.

1. There are several reasons why boys in Persian Gulf are not doing well at school. The main one is that they wrongly think that they are going to be rich forever just because they are living in an oil-rich region, and they will be able to hire anyone to do whatever they need. For that reason, they do not give any importance to anything that supposes both physical and mental effort. On the contrary, women are getting benefit from this situation since they see an opportunity to get an education and possibly high levels in a company.
2. I think that it is a mistake that families do not want their children to study hard. From my point of view, education is one of the most important values a person can have to progress in life and therefore is a way to enrich a country. If the local people in a country are not prepared enough, they will not have the tools to protect themselves against any threats, and they will become dependent on others.
3. There is a big difference between private and public school. Teachers in private schools encourage the children to finish their studies and get higher education and are better trained and interested to get results. In public schools, teachers come from other Arab countries and many of them are not so skilled as they should.
4. Unfortunately, if the trend goes on, men will not be capable of managing the country and they will have to depend on better qualified women and foreign people.
5. This problem is complicated to solve since it requires to make them study harder and change their mind. It is something that not everyone will be willing to do.

In public schools, teachers come from other Arab countries and many of them are not so skilled as they should.

Until your next entry. Well done!
