1. I understand her mother’s words in the sense that you are a mother or a daughter all time. However, you will not be a director of an entreprise all your life. Nevertheless, I would try to explain to Indra’s mother that she has made efforts to become director and she likes her job.
2. I agree. It is very difficult to balance work and personal life nowadays. In my opinion, the most ambicious you are or you want to reach at work, the most difficult to work life balance is. You need to find strategies of support with the family (especially for children). You can find alternatives but you need to prioritize if you want to spend more time with the family or you want to progress in your career. I see it like this.
3. For me, it is crucial having flexibility at work and the option of being home based (work remotely) now that my children are small.
4. I totally agree with this sentence. This is the reason why we need to prioritize and why it is very important to have flexibility at work.
