NASA scientists on Monday announced the discovery of 219 new objects beyond our solar system that are almost certainly planets.

What’s more, 10 of these worlds may be rocky, about the size of Earth, and habitable.

1. How close do you think we are to finding a “second” Earth?
I haven’t heard any news about an important discovery. I think that scientist are in the way but that they are yet quite far of finding something concluding.
2. Why do you think scientists are so invested in finding new planets?
It would be useful to know if there are other planets where humans can live.

I don’t know. I think It would depend on the existing conditions in the planet. For he momento it is not something I can imagine.

If I consider what the article says I have to say that we are very close, but I am not completely confident with all the discovery that they say.

They are scientists and they have these duties and objective, and the same time it is a big finding to the life.

It is very unrealistic question in this moment, I don’t what I would do. I can imagine how much would the trip cost.

Why not?. I think it is the same situation that could have occurred in Ancient Greece, when some thinker imagined if there could be life beyond the Pillars of Hercules (Finisterre)
