I do not completely agree with the article, I can see they made studies, but in my opinion the emojis on emails depends on the person you are writing to, the relationship you have with this person, and the sense you want to put to this email.

I know that there are rules for writing emails, is like when you write letters, in English classes, those rules are normally studied, but I still support on that actually in a majority of companies you don’t need to follow so strictly those rulings.

Is not proper emailing etiquette, I think is more the person you are writing to, the moment you are writing in, and the meaning of the email. I think emojis can have a meaning of closeness, friendship or even humility.

4. If you could set the rules, should emojis be used as part of professional emails? Why or why not?

I am deeply convinced that yes, nowadays everything is changing, we no longer handle old regulations, social networks are more and more in our normal life and job, so this kind of language will be implemented as normal, even in our work emails.

To use a polite languages.
To put subject line, and try that it clear email idea.
If I want to answer something on the received email, I answer with other color, usually blue just next to the previous text.
and never I answer in capital letters.

I think that is very important, because the subject line is a summary of email, in a few word you say what it is.

No, I think that emojis should be no used as a part of professional mails. Are nice, but inappropriate and unprofessional.

Ussualy I apply the following e-mail writing rules:
• Don´t write anything that can be used against me.
• Don´t reply to all of the recipients, if it is not needed.
• To use polite vocabulary.
• To use font classic in black, at least you want to answer something on the e-mail you received. In this case, you can use red or blue.

I think is not serious putting emojis in work e-mails. I think a formal style of letter should be use in this case.

It is very important knowing proper e-mailing etiquette in order to avoid putting your own image at risk.
