More and more young Japanese do not want to get married and start a family. This would affect the economy and the whole society in the future.

To avoid serious consequences of this trend, the Japanese government has decided to change adulthood age from 20 to 18.

What can you say about this change?
Change cultural customs using laws is not very useful, the people needs time for changing the idea of younger marriages, I supousse that in japan the people don´t get married at 20 years old and will not be married at 18 tears old because they can by law.

New familyes means more children, and future workers that will pay tases and will help the government pay for pensions and healthcare

I think that another government measures may be more useful, it´s not an age problem.
