This article is not very clear about the final results of the research. I suppose that the reason is because this type of study can not be widespread worldwide. The study should take into account different factors such as customs, religion or level of develpment which can affect to the way of thinking of each people.
From my point of view, both theories can be true. On one hand, when a couple has a good relationship between them, they do not need anybody else to live with. What’s more, they will not suffer with the problems a child can give during his/her growth. On the contrary, when the relationship between the couple is not satisfactory enough, to raise a child can be the solution to fill the gaps in your life. However, as I previously said, raising a child will suppose problems that the couple will have to face and if the relation is not strong enough it can be end up in divorce.
Good job writing about your views on being an empty-nester. Please check some of these sentences and the way you can structure them better:
The study should take into account different factors such as customs, religion or level of develpment which can affect to the way of thinking of each people.
> The study should TAKE different factors THAT can affect the way of thinking of EVERY PERSON INTO ACCOUNT such as THEIR customs, religion, AND level of DEVELOPMENT.
What’s more, they will not suffer with the problems a child can give during his/her growth.
> MOREOVER/IN ADDITION, they WON’T HAVE TO DEAL with problems a child can CAUSE GROWING UP.
However, as I previously said, raising a child will suppose problems that the couple will have to face and if the relation is not strong enough it can be end up in divorce.
> However, as I previously said, raising a child CAN CAUSE problems that the couple will have to face and if the RELATIONSHIP is not strong enough, it CAN END UP in divorce.
