Coronavirus has impacted not only the public health system and the economy. The pandemic caused massive disruption among businesses. Many businesses closed due to lower demands and employee health concerns.
Some businesses have been successful in adapting to the new situation, but many still wait for the vaccine so they can go back to their usual operations.

– How has COVID-19 affected businesses in your country?
Unfortunately, many small business had to close due to the pandemic. Others could survive thanks to the government’s extraordinary financial support and thanks to rethink their business adapting to the new situation.
– How have businesses adapted to the ‘new normal’?
I think the main change was the digitalization of many business: restaurants and shops implemented on-line orders and take-aways. Companies who works in offices sent their employees to work at home, so they had to implement network solutions.
How will the vaccine change the current situation?
The vaccine caused a decrease in the number of people affected by a serious degree of the COVID disease, so it allowed the governments to loosen the restrictions and come back slowly to the normal situation.
– How will the vaccine change the mindset of the people?
I hope people remind that we have to take individual preventive measurements when we are ill by an infectious pathogen, i.e. not going to work or work at home, wearing masks, etc.
Governments to take notes writing and training preventive and corrective protocols in case of a new similar pandemic.
And everyone to learn that we have to take care of the nature. We could see how the nature developed and growth in a better way when the humans were confined.
What do you think will be the future of businesses in your country?
Many companies has decided not to come back to the same methodology of work previous to the pandemic but otherwise to keep in a hybrid way, a part at the office, a part at home, keeping and even developing the digitial skills and capabilities.
