Were you a moviegoer before the Covid-19 pandemic? How often did you use to see a movie?
Not at all, I only go to the movie theaters for specific blockbuster movies. Even I can’t remember now what was the last movie I saw one, maybe one of the Star Wars or Avengers saga.

How do you feel about the reopening of movie theaters amidst the pandemic?
Opening movie theaters is not the matter itself because people have enough entertaining options like Netflix, Prime and such. Nonetheless I can understand people’s willingness to go to see a movie in a theater and the proprietaries’ need to open their businesses to keep them running, but I don’t think that it is a wise choice going to a closed place with other people for at least two hours. I guess that the wiser one is to keep them closed until this pandemic is done and, in the meantime, government must provide financial aid to those businesses that are directly impacted by covid like movie theaters.

If the movie theater provides adequate safeguards against the coronavirus, would you likely visit the cinema to see a movie again soon? Why or why not?
From my standpoint, I wouldn’t go to a cinema until the pandemic is done or at least a huge amount of people are vaccinated. In the end it’s a matter of trust, you have to trust the people that work there to keep the area safe, and in most cases they’ll do, but personally I’m not willing to risk neither my health nor my relative’s health for this cause. This pandemic is temporal and soon we will return to do the things that we used to.

Be careful where you place “even” here:

Even I can’t remember now what was the last movie I saw one, maybe one of the Star Wars or Avengers saga.

I can’t even remember now what the last movie I saw was one, maybe one of the Star Wars or Avengers saga.

Great going so far!

Were you a moviegoer before the Covid-19 pandemic? Not too much, just sometimes…
How often did you use to see a movie? Maybe my average was once a month. Actually, it depended on the films, sometimes I went more frequently.
How do you feel about the reopening of movie theaters amidst the pandemic? They, as a business, try to survive but, from my point of view, as a consumer, it isn’t worth the risk.
If the movie theater provides adequate safeguards against the coronavirus, would you likely visit the cinema to see a movie again soon? No, I wouldn’t.
Why or why not? Because, nowadays, there are lots of possibilities to enjoy cinema at home. Netflix, HBO, Prime Video,…the quality of the sound is not the same and I will not be able to watch the new releases, but, as I see it, I don’t trust the safeguards completely, so I prefer to take risks in something I can’t do at home.
