The UK government voted against giving free school lunches to children in the holidays. I´m disagree with this decision because I think food is a basic need that must be covered.

No, school meals aren´t completely free in my coutry. You need to pay a fee in most cases but if you have a goverment scholarship you dont have to pay or you have to pay less.
It´s depends on the cooks and the school, because there are many schools where the food is not nutritious and other ones where the food is good for health.

School meals are important to children because you need you need to eat well in order to have a good health and to feel strong.
On the other hand, they are very important to them because they dont have other thing to eat.

We have schools and high schools. In schools you can have the service of luch, but when you are older you don´t have this opportunity.
I didnt go to a school luchroom because i prefer eating at home. The high school´s cafeteria was small. You only have a part where you could buy sandwiches and other part where you could buy candies.
