In some views, the world needs to decrease the amount of CO2 emmisions, garbage, and so on. Taking into account the figures presented in the video, it can help us to save money in the long run. With a critical mindset or point of view, for sure. We need to take measures of the consumption (oil/electricity/water) and test the products, read the fine print of the brochures and double check the information.
Avoiding buying products that use of the green tag as a marketing mechanism, it can be good and cheaper.
3. Do you consider yourself a green person? Why or why not?
Not too much. Although I try to do the right things: avoid using plastic bags, try to find local products and other things, I’m not very conscious when it comes to use air conditioned or having a shower.
Additionally, I’m skeptical with the green tag, it’s quite often used to increased products prices without any additional value.
4. Are you willing to spend more on eco-friendly products? Why or why not?
The normal should be that the products were eco-friendly. Apart from this, I don’t know how to distinguish the real and fake ones, so I prefer not to pay more unless I really know where the products come from or who produces them.
5. Have you ever donated your time or money toward environmental causes? Which organization did you help? What is their focus?
I haven’t been involved in environmental causes yet but if I had the chance, I will support the production of bio and eco food: eggs, veggies and other products.
In this situation I will invest in a farm to also help create new job positions.
