Online romance has increased a lot in the information age; even more during the coronavirus pandemic since most people have been isolated in their own homes. People try to find their romantic partner using different platforms.

Unfortunately, not everyone on these platforms wants romance. Some are just there with fake online identities. They gain their victim’s affection and trust and then try to take their money. These fraudsters deceive people into believing they are in a platonic or romantic relationship when all they want is money.

* I don’t know if there is fraud on dating sites, but I suppose there is, as with everything related to the internet and especially social networks.
* I understand that there is fraud from what I read in the article, that is, during the coronavirus pandemic there have been many people alone, isolated from everything and I suppose it was easy to fall into the trap or fraud.
* I suppose that if they ask you for strange things, you have to suspect that person. You can never trust unless it is a site that you know is one hundred percent reliable.
* To avoid being scammed, it is best not to access this type of dating sites. Or distrust that everything is very beautiful.
