1. I hadn’t thought too much about it since my job doesn’t allow me to even consider it. However, while watching YouTube videos some ads appeared using this way of life for selling accounts for being a broker or selling courses on how I am wasting my time and money if I’m not able to earn $200 in half an hour. I have never given any credibility to those fantasizing stories.
2. Lack of knowledge of the destination can be a problem. Take for example the case of the guy from Netherlands who went to Marbella in Spain. One must have a huge amount of money to live there, because it’s a deluxe touristic destination. The premium he was requested for wasn’t, as he said, for the nice weather, which by the way, is something you can get in almost the whole Iberian Peninsula. No, that price was due to unknowingly going where celebrities and wealthy people have palatial residences and massive yachts.
3. It seems that most of them have been deceived by an idealized image of what digital nomadism is. They are unaware of day-to-day problems, like lacking social contact, missing an adequate place for work, wants of healthy food, health care necessities, and others.
4. If I were younger, it would be an option to consider. But just for a brief time, before establishing myself in a place to live definitively. This previous wondering could even help me to choose a better location to settle.
5. Obviously, by distancing yourself from your social circle, the vitality of those relations is going to help. Although, if this is just a temporal situation, those personal relationships can be easily recovered.

1. I’ve nerved worked from home so I don’t have a personal advice but I believe digital nomadism can be beneficial, but only on punctual moments during specific periods.
2. Time zone difference, slow connections on internet, lack of stability ( changing locations)
3. Loss of long term friendships , depression, feeling of loneliness, housing situation
4. Yes, I think it will be a good experience to enjoy more my free time but I like also get to the office and talk with my colleagues every day.
