Europe is about to decide on new laws for artificial intelligence (AI), and it’s a big deal. As we use AI more in our lives these days, we need rules to make sure it’s ethical and that it abides by certain standards and regulations.

It’s absolutely necessary, A.I. is better every day, and have unlimited uses, for good uses and for the bad uses of this new technology, we should have rules and a strong law that can adapt quickly to the fast developments in this technology.
2. How do you believe AI laws can balance the promotion of innovation with ensuring ethical and responsible AI use?
It is very difficult, so it is so important to have a law that regulates all the uses of the I.A. Even if necessary to fine companies or people who do not follow the law. It was similar for the use of other devices or technology (p.e.: cars, internet, etc.)
3. Do you agree the proposals mentioned in the video? In your opinion, what ethical considerations should be prioritized when crafting AI laws?
I agree, with the AI Act and with all the points of the regulation, I think the key point is to avoid any kind of discrimination related with the use of this new technology, and also to create some tools for the use of the people to protect people, for example in order to check that the information, data, and so on, that we will receive is not fake or artificially create for AI for bad purposes.
4. What role do you think public input and awareness should play in shaping AI laws and regulations?
It is paramount, the most important thing is to protect people for the misuse of AI, for example use AI to scam people, to deceive people, for fraudulent purposes, etc.
