1) The web page has an error (I couldn´t see the article/video), but I have thought about this question and posible answers under the interviewer point of view:
One the one hand, for the interviewer it would be necesary in order to remember the capabilities and qualifications and distinguish some candidates from others and scoring them.
On the other hand, take notes it would help to interviewee to feel more confident because you show interest about he/she is speaking during the job interview.
2) About the importance of researching the company you are applying for, as I see it, I consider that it is necessary know relevant dates of the company:
Firstly, number of employees.
Secondly, anual turnover.
Also, features about the offered job.
Finally, in my opinión, searching enough information about company in order to find the advantages and disvantages about how it would be work there.
3) What are other things you can do to be prepared for your interview?
As far as I concerned, the main tips or advices a candidate should be consider are:
-Give them a good impresion with your body lenguage
-A bussines outfit with a suit (tie is optional)
-Have eye contact with enterviewer.
-Shake hand when you meet her/him.
-Also, a good posture on chair (straight back)
Good work staying consistent in practicing your writing!
