1. What regulatory agencies are there in your country? What are their objectives?
Answer: In my country there is a regulatory agency called tax regulatory. His objective is collect taxes for a better functioning of the public resources.
2. What types of products are banned in your country? Why are they banned? Are any unusual products banned? Why? Answer: In my country are banned the terrorist bombs. They are banned because can kill a lot of people.
Which product bans do you agree with? Which product bans do you disagree with? Tell your group about it. Answer: I agree with ban to smoking in the public places, for example in the cinemas and the cafeterias. I disagree with ban to take your personal products with you in the plan, like cosmetics, perfumes; and so on.
3. Think of the company you currently work for. What type of consumer protection laws does your company have to be aware of? How do these laws affect your company? Explain to your group.
Answer: In relation to the consumer protection laws, my company have to be aware, that the cleaning of the floor of the building during opening hours to the public, can be dangerous for the people. Because if the floor is wet, the consumers can slide and they can suffer personal injuries.
4. Does your country have anti-trust laws? Can you think of any well-known examples of companies violating anti-trust laws? In general, how do you feel about anti-trust laws? Do you think they are in the people’s best interest? Discuss with your group.
Answer: My country has the anti-trust laws. Some transportation companies violating anti-trust laws in my country. In general, I feel good about anti-trust laws.
5. What type of products do you know that have product warnings? What do they product warnings say? Do you think these product warnings are necessary? What type of products do you think should have warnings? Do you think some product warnings are unnecessary? Which ones? Discuss with your group.
Answer: The medicines, and the cleaning chemical products has warnings. This products says : “keep out of the reach of children “. I think that the products warnings are necessary, because can saves the people’s lives.
6. Does your country have whistle-blower laws?
Answer: I don’t know if my contry has whistle-blower laws.
8. Does your country have any lending laws in place (such as maximum levels of interest on credit cards and loans)? Tell your group about them.
Answer: My country has any lending laws. For example, if you don’t pay a mortgage credit, you loss your house, and also you have to pay the credit to the bank.
