Considering that university and college are educational institution, I do believe that both will have benefits for the students.
Such as increase knowledge in specific field of study, gain confidence in some matters, obtain tools and abilities to develop in your future work.
It´s an article with no clear description about the differences of college and university but that pointed the college as a good point to start your professional career.
After being developing my career in different enterprises, the work I´m currently developing is not related to my university degree but I have the proper abilities and experience to carry out the proyects or assignments without problem, I just need to reinforce the technical knowledge in this field.
After checking many job applications, I can resume that it´s completely necessary to get a degree to be interviewed for a job. Obviously there are lof of positions such as plumber or construction worker that you only need experience.
