However, did we consider those people still living in the past? If they have the same knowledge of technology as the people of this generation?

Probably we must set focus in this situations. People that don´t know how to use social apps for communication apps, could be isolated in few years.

The way I see it this don´t necessary is a gap, you must spend time with your elders and you will bridge this gap easily.

No, in my household most of us are very knowledgeable in tech gadgets, but we must to spend time to explain new gadget to my elders and nowadays my mother wear an smartwatch.

My vacuum cleaner robot is connected to internet and I can see the route it does. And I have too two smart speaker. The smartspeakers, lights and vacuum robot are connected to same routines

1. Should we consider this gap a social issue? Yes we should. Our society is becoming more and more techonological and people who do not know how to deal with it will be excluded.
2. Is it easy to bridge this gap between your own grandparents or older parents?
It is not easy. In my case, my parents are doctors and they need to use computers, tablets, software with ease but they don’t have the necessary knowledge and I have to help constantly. On the other hand, my grandmother is 88 years old and doesn’t need technology in her daily life, but we use a smartphone to make video calls. She doesn’t have to do anything because I just call her and the video call starts. When we are ended, she doesn’t have to hang up either. It’s a great idea for older people to be able to talk to their family and friends. My grandmother can see Mateo easily.
In your household, is everyone very knowledgeable when it comes to tech gadgets and devices?
Not in my house. I’m the one who has to help them manage them.
What domestic appliances do you have that are very modern?
I deal with all the applications normally, but I understand it is difficult for people who have not grown up using them. I believe that young children will be totally familiar with the technology since they are digital natives.

* Totally it is a social gap or social problem. We are forgetting our elders. Most do not know how to use technology and we are not taking it into account. It is a lack of respect. In most banks they no longer attend personally. Recently in Spain there has been a proposal from an elderly person to change this, and something has been changed.
* It is very difficult to close the gap. There is too much difference between what they know and what needs to be known.
* In my house, if we are updated, at least in the most used or most normal devices.
* Ipad, iphone, smart speakers, laptops, smarttv, etc.

I think it’s easier to bridge this gap between my parents than between my grandparents, because my parents adapt better to technological changes because they are necessary in their day to day, but my grandparents don’t need it as much, so neither They show interest in learning about new technologies.
3. In your household, is everyone very knowledgeable when it comes to tech gadgets and devices?
In the case of my parents, my mother knows more about technological devices because she herself has searched for information about it and has been interested in knowing how different devices work. Instead, my father is satisfied with what he already knows.
4. What domestic appliances do you have that are very modern?
An appliance that I think is very modern is the roomba, which is a device that cleans my house without the need to sweep, and we also have a kitchen robot that is very useful for cooking all kinds of dishes, from a dessert to any principal meal.
