1. Do you approve of Facebook’s decision to not add a “dislike” button? Why or why not?
I am completely desagree with decision to not add a “dislike” button because I don´t undestand why I always have to press the like button on sad or hurtful events.
As I see it, I feel stupid pushing the like button on a sad situation and I usually prefer no to add words to the image or video.

2. How do you generally feel about Facebook?
Front my point of view, on the one hand a strong point in favor of Facebook is that it helps us to be in contact with our classmates or friends who live far away.
On the other hand, I consider that people show us a irreal life where everyone is happy all time and that is imposible.

3. What other social media websites do you use?
I prefer Instagram because I choose the people that I want to follow on topics I like and I can learn about things that interest me.

4. How is social media useful in today’s society?
About social media useful in today’s society, the advantages or strengths we should consider are: Firstly, we can speak at real time with whoever you want. As the like button exists, I think the ‘dislike’ button is also very important because you are able to express if you like or dislike a post.
I’m opinion, Facebook y not bad at all because you can get connected with people that you don’t hear about the last few years or you can share charity campaigns and so other good things, but the problem is that this tool is also used for bombarding the users with tons of data that may be overwhelming.
I have to admit that I’m, not a social media user, but I have used Instagram and Facebook in the past, nowadays I only use social media if need to contact a company or a charity organization.
As social media is spread around the world, I think they are useful to check what is going on in the entire world at the very first moment an event happens.

Thanks for sharing you two cents on this subject. You are doing a good job so far.

Here is just a sentence you can still improve a bit with proper punctuations:

I understand why “dislike” button can be understood as a bad idea as it use could mean people decides not to publish somenthing because of this “negative reaction”.
I’m not a big fan on Facebook, I use it basically to have some distraction looking what others publish there, I don’t publish there. I use Instagram to publish and Twitter to be informed, those on the non professional side, regarding professional news Linkedin and webs are my sources.
Social media is a powerful tool whixh allows everybody has a channel to share their thoughts, but if it’s controlled (as it is) then it could be used in a bad way (manipulating people opinions).

We appreciate the time you spent in writing your responses for this lesson.
