Discussion Questions:
What is the age for mandatory retirement in your country? What is the advantage and disadvantage of retiring at this age?
It depends of the years you have been working and paying taxes for the Social Security, so if you did so for, at least, 37 year you can retire at 65 years old, if not at 67 years old.

Where and how would you like to spend your retirement years? Why?
I live in Madrid and I want to live in Madrid in these days, cause it’s a big city, is nice and you have everything (museums, cinemas, theatres, conferences, hospitalities services, etc…). I can travel also abroad in a cheaper way (p.e. avoiding the high season prices, etc.) …
I would like to spend these years learning a lot of things, for example: learning new languages, dabbing piano, going to exhibitions and conferences, etc.

How are you preparing for your retirement years?
Yes, in deep, well you have to adjust your expenses and update the situation of your finances from time to time in order avoid non desirables surprise and be ready for the worst-case scenario. (for example: inflation in a real risk for your assets nowadays).

What are the three (3) things you would like to accomplish/have before and after you retire?
After my retirement:
• Play better my piano and study music theory
• Improve my english and french, learn how to paint, etc.
• Do sport, and take care of my health.

You are doing a great job practicing your writing regularly.

Remember to write your responses in proper form of sentences and paragraphs. For instance, this one answer of yours:

• Play better my piano and study music theory

• Do sport, and take care of my health.

Some things I would like to accomplish once I retire are to play the piano better and study music theory more, improve my English and French, learn how to paint, and do more sports and take care of my health.

Until your next entry!
