People get manipulated which can sometimes be offensive while some only try to persuade to stop others from making hasty decisions.

I think that it depends on how the person is. There are some people who can be easily convinced. A brief explanation of your reasons is enough for them. However, other people rarely change their mind. In this cases persuation is really complicated.

Once, I had to convince my sister to go on holiday to the mountain instead of the beach. I explained her why I thought that we would have better time at the mountain: the nature, the calm, the weather… At the end I was able to make her change her mind.

Yes, I think it is a good idea. If you have a big disagreement about something you can try to divide the problema into small parts. If you are able to reach agreements in some of those parts, you will be closer to find the solution.

I don´t think. I think that the persuasion is an art; and is very difficult to change the mind of the people.
Many times we do mistake with persuasion, and we end imposing our ideas more than changelle the mind the of other, is very delicate. we end imposing more that convincing.

Really I don´t remember now, maybe I use this with my daugthers, or whith my family, when we have to put agree in something for example. In those moment I can to use this tool. But is very difficult if you don’t have good arguments.

if the question is if the persuasion is the best way; I don´t have it so clear; because I´m agree the persuasion is a tool positive if the use is correct. But if we manipulates with them, I don´t know! Because we aren´t solve a disagreement, in this case we would be imposing an idea, in form soft, in place of agreening.
