What do you think of massage as a therapy in promoting overall wellness?
I guess massages could be a possible way of relaxing not only your body but also of chilling your thoughts. Therefore, both beneficial properties would improve overall wellness, at least for a while.
Have you ever had a massage? If so, how often do you get one and why do you do it?
I wouldn’t say that I had a massage as such, but more of a therapy since the medical specialty is called physiotherapy. I went there twice a week during a couple of years due to my back pains, but it was few years ago.
What are some of the reasons people get massages?
Reasons could be diverse, while some could get massages due to health issues, others may choose to have a massage as a relaxing therapy. Furthermore, if you have a friend who gives massages you both could meet while he or she is giving you a massage.
In your opinion, is a massage only a feel-good way to indulge yourself or a powerful tool to be in control of your health and well-being?
I think it’s all about how you see the massage therapy, you may take it as an escape rout from your daily concerns and worries, or maybe you can have a massage simply because you’ve deserved it.
Why do you think such kind of therapy has boomed over the years?
Massage therapy has burst into our lives to provide wellness and relax. This is particularly noticeable for those people that spend several hours a day sitting, which usually may lead to back and shoulder pains. For
me, is not new at all since I learned long time ago how to give massages, and my wife has taken advantage of such skill. I guess it’s a win-win, she gets a massage and it’s for free!
