I think that there are crazy records, I’d never imagined someone doing racing with folding ladders or folding pink scarves
2. Why are such records so important to some people or for some cities/countries?
I think that could be because they have some tradition for which they did it in the past, and nowadays they continue doing it like a play

In my city we have a record in throwing the seed of the palm tree fruit.

Yes, I’d like to participate in this type of events because normally it used to be doing something wacky and I think that it would be funny
