In the US, the school bus is believed to be the safest vehicle on the road. Parents feel safe when their children take this yellow bus to school. They have safety features that not all vehicles have. It is easy to notice them on the road because they are yellow in color.

Why are school buses in yellow? – because black letters on it can be seen easily, and when the weather is bad, people can see this color easily too.
Why do you think school buses are safer than most vehicles? – Because they are big vehicles, and they are driven slowly. Also, they are painted with striking colors.
Are school buses common in your country? Are they also painted yellow? – No, there are few school buses in my country, and they often are small and are painted on dark colors.
Do you have children or young family members who go to school? How do they usually get there? – No, I do not have. Children usually go to school walking. In case the school is far, their parents carry them by car.
What other protective measures should be included in yellow buses or school transport? – Seat-belts can be implemented for all seats. Another measure that could be useful would be implement more emergency lights when the bus is stopped.
