Wegovy, a drug for weight loss, was approved by the US Food and Drug Agency (FDA) in 2021. They believe it could help lower the risk of death caused by stroke or heart attack in adults who suffer from cardiovascular disease or obesity.

I think Wegovy can provide a better life and increase life expectancy for many people. Accordig the seconds effects over other organs I am not an expert but I soppose that the FDA will have evaluated the pros an cons according a protocol and agreed the convinience to approve its sold.

I think so. At least indirectly due to obesity provoques more deseases.

I agree but it should be always in concondance with the OK that comes form the specialist.

It is obvious because this decision will bring that this medicament will be sold or not.

I agree and disagree. I agree because it will be good for the risk population because this population will be able to have access to this new medicament but in the other hand it is needed that this companies can get the return ot ots inventment in order to invest in future medicament. The idea is to find a good balance between revenues and social return.
