It’s one thing to notice someone else’s attitude. It’s another to notice your own. You may be performing very well but your colleagues hold you on low regard due to some behaviors you manifest.

I think I blend in well with coworkers at my office. Before the pandemic I went to office more often, nowadays I normally go twice a month. But I think I have good connections with my coworkers.

Every worker has encountered somebody that comes to the office with smelly food, specialy with smelly fish. I have find sometime too people gossiping a lot of times and I agree with the article that It has a horrible impact on your coworkers

It is difficult to take control emotions in this type of situations. You must to understand all the time someone is going to judge you and you must aware of your hard work.

I always try to walking in their shoes, it is no easy to understand everyone have problems, everyone have insecurities. Every worker feels judged in his work by his colleages and bosses.
I can´t stand people who have to stay in every the situations, they are afraid of missing out(FOMO – Fear Of Missing Out). And I think it is something you have to control when you are an adult.

1. I usually get on well with the people around me. It does not mean that everyone behaves correctly but it does not have any sense to have any conflict with anyone when I have to spend most of the time at work.
2. I’m familiar with many of the behaviors mentioned in the article. The most recent I remember has been a month ago when a person who was hired. The person had been working in the same company ten years ago, and it was supposed that this person was going to carry out the tasks without any problem. After two weeks in the company, this person resigned and left the company without time to transfer the information to another person. Another example was a colleague of mine who was criticizing everything in the company. Her behavior spread the rest of the team, and the environment became toxic. Fortunately, this person decided to try to another company.
3. I always try to be at my best at work no matter if I have eyes on me checking my work or my behavior. It is a matter of responsibility and feeling good with myself.
4. When I have to deal with a difficult coworker, I try to have all the communications via e-mail. It is the only way to think twice what and how to say before say something that I can provoke a confrontation.
5. Some of the things I can’t stand people who I work are those who are boasting about themselves, but they cannot really show all they say to know. Also, I hate those people who do not want to recognize their mistakes and they find someone else to charge them with them.
