Flight delays are definitely unpleasant experience when traveling. But how do you react to it? Some people take it too far – causing even bigger problems at the airports, with the airlines and fellow passengers.

I think it is risky because, although it may seem like a good idea at first, it opens the door to denying people access due to bad behavior. However, this can generate conflicts because what is considered bad behavior can be closely related to culture and heritage. For instance, speaking loudly could be considered bad behavior in some countries, whereas in Spain it is quite common. Therefore, this type of list could trigger difficult situations by not taking cultural differences into account.

Not really. The only thing I have experienced is people being very rude to flight attendants without considering that they have no control over the situation. They are simply doing what they have been instructed to do, and I do not think that is fair.

Absolutely not. Personal data should be protected, and it should also be taken into account that people can make mistakes in the past. This does not mean they will make the same mistakes again. I do not think it is fair.

Only actions that cause harm to others, such as physical aggression toward airline staff or other passengers. Being rude or impolite should not be enough. In fact, some airline policies should also be reviewed because they can be unfair to passengers, such as charging extra fees for luggage or similar situations.

I do not think so. In Spain, this is not a major problem. The laws are already quite strict, and, as I mentioned, I believe that passengers’ rights should be reviewed instead.

Yes, during a long flight from Madrid to Cancun (mexico) there was a big group of students going there on a end of year trip. They were already drunk and started fussing alla round. They were moving around, singing and shouting and the rest of the people wanted to rest and sleep. Crew threated them to call the police when the plane landed which they did in fact but these group did not stopped bothering.

I dont consider blacklisting as a good idea because it sounds like a forever consequence to a particular situation. I´d prefer a punishment for that incident, but not a forever ban.

No, I have never been o a such situation. I had a long delay once, and some passengers complained a lot but we were not flying we were stacked into the Gateway airport in London.

People pay for their plane tickets, sometimes a large amount of money, and they, of course, have planned their timetable according to the take-off time, maybe they have important things to do and need to take the plane urgently.
A more than two hours delay might cause to them a lot of problems. That´s what are companies would have to take into account. and the best way is avoiding these delays.
