Actually, find it pretty scary that scams are getting so real and that even experienced users fall for them. The fact that you do not even have to click on an ad for the computer to get infected by the malware is quite disturbing.
I would not say I am extremely worried about internet security, but I have to admit that I do try to be careful and not trusting any ad that might just pop up after visiting a website. In case I find an ad or that I see an interesting message, I just google it for myself. However, after reading the article I gotta admit that I might have to be even more careful.
In my case, I use an antivirus software to keep my computer safe, and as I just mentioned, I try to be careful and not to click on anything that looks suspicious.
Nowadays, I think we all are at risk from scams. We all have so many things going on in our heads that one day you just relax, and then, something you like just appears on the screen (because they know what we like through our browsing history) and that is the moment when you might be scammed.
