1. What do you think about being chipped? Is it ethical?

In my opinion, being chipped is just an useless and modern utopia. It would be ethical as far as everybody can make his own decision, but I honestly don’t find it interesting at all.

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a microchip implant?

It is difficult to me to think about the advantatges. Considering that a lot of information can be recorded on a microchip, that would grant us some facilities like credentials to access to certain areas, easy identification, etc. But, honestly, why we should implant under our skind a device, if we can wear it in our pocket? I think it is a serious decision and can not be made unconsciously.

Cons are more than perks. After all, we are implanting a foreigner item in our body. It could lead to allergical reactions, for example. On the other hand, I do not think our society is prepared to be that controlled (and I feel happy for that).

3. Would you voluntary have one under your skin?

Definetely not. I am happy with my “freedom”. If you had asked me some years before, I would have answered “maybe”. But now I am totally against on being controled (due to pandemia restrictions).

1. What do you think about being chipped? Is it ethical? I think it is something really scary and from my point of view, not ethical so it can´t be mandatory but, as a voluntary option, you can choose and you can decide if you dare having it.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a microchip implant? The main and, in my opinion only advantage is to save space in your pocket or handbag.
Although, it is stated in the video it is safe, I can´t agree with it as having an electronic chip inserted in your body has to have any repercussion.
3. Would you voluntary have one under your skin? At this moment, I would say I wouldn´t but there have been plenty of things I had said I would never use or do and then I did so I may change my mind in the future.

Interesting to read your thoughts on this very controversial matter.

1. What do you think about being chipped? Is it ethical?
I think it can be ethical if you can choose to wear it or not and if you are fully informed about the conditions of wearing a chip in your body. Who will have access to the information in your chip, if it is savety to wear information in your hand or if this information can be stolen easy by a reader device.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a microchip implant?
For me there is only one advantage and is that is easy an comfortable because you don’t need any additional keys or cards and also you don’t need to remind a pin code. You can have everything in your hand.
3 disadvantages, but the list can be longer:
– Is an invasive technique to implant a chip under your skin. Has it side effects? (skin reeactions for example)
– It is for the whole live? Needs to be swapped for a new one after some time? What about if I left the company? Can you remove it?
– How many information and what kind of information contatins the chip, and who can access to it?
3. Would you voluntary have one under your skin?
Definettly not. And less to make easier or modern to work in a company. MAYBE for somethin bigger and important like reasrch of a rare disease, or simply to reasearch the human body in a controlled clinical trial that can help other people health in the future.

It is good to see you are being persistent in writing. Keep it up!

I think it is ethical if the person is correctly and fully informed about the microchip and its uses. As long as the person voluntarily decides to implement the microchip.

Avantages: maybe you’re more connected with the new era and you can have access to new technologies that make your life more comfortable.

3. Would you voluntary have one under your skin?
No. I think that at the moment it is not necessary since its use is not very widespread and you can use your identification in your mobile phone (virtual wallet)
