1. What do you think of business clothes?
In my opinion, this is just a way to classify the companies, in fact, an old and retrograde view of the companies. What I mean is that dress code should be dress election, if someone feels good and comfortable, or not, with suits or stylish clothes, they should be free to choose whether they want to wear those clothes or not.

2. Do people in business suits look better and more professional?
I don’t think so. What I can realise is that if you are working and you have relation with people that are wearing this very elegant clothes and you are wearing jeans and t-shirt or pull-overs, they can feel that you are not at the same level as they are. But, for me, this can be the perfect way to show them the super amazing job you do for them, and prove that wearing other clothes than they do, not means that you cannot do the job or carry them to success.

3. Is it good or bad to dress casually at work?
As I said in the previous questions, to dress casually must not have the meaning that you work less, or you are lazy. If you feel comfortable with the clothes you are wearing, it is a way to avoid distractions. You are not thinking “oh, this jacket is so uncomfortable that I cannot breathe” or examples like this one, that the only thing they are giving to you is distraction.

Well, in my job, unfortunately, I need to wear more elegant clothes. I would love to wear jeans and nice sneakers, clothes that I think eventually are more suitable for my job situations. But in pharm industry this dress code is normally mandatory. I visit doctors, and sometimes who I think is out the situation, is us, the visitors, because you dress more elegantly and the doctor usually is wearing sneakers, jeans and some of them sweatpants… so I don’t think is the best to have this dress code.

5. Would you be able to work harder in casual clothes at work?
I adapt to all situations in my jobs, so this is not affecting to the quality of my work. But, I would feel more comfortable, and sometimes, when is almost the time to finish workday, the only thing I am thinking is to arrive home and change my clothes to other more comfortable for me and the ones with I can feel better.
