Talking to strangers is not an easy thing to do, at least for me. Sometimes, I unknow how the other person can react before my talk, and the most of occassions it is a matter of which subject to raise. However, I try to speak to the people mainly if I notice that this person needs help since they are usually more receptive ones.
I have to say that the people in my country like relationships and be in connection with others, thus it is not too complicated to start a conversation.
A problem that I have detected in people is that they like speaking but not listening to the rest. There are two kind of people, either these boasting themselves about their lucky life or these telling their problems and how badly the life is treating them. Both cases are very boring because they are not aware that nobody bother it at all.
When someone starts a conversation with me, I try to be careful about what to say. Firstly, I like to know a little more about his/her worries or likings so that I can avoid any conflictive matter. I hate confronting with nobody. I consider that it does not deserve to be angry with nobody. Life is too short to be annoyed and as the article states, talking helps you be happier.

It is not always easy for everyone to start a conversation with others. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this topic. Make sure to check out this correction:

> There are two kinds of people. One are those people who boast about themselves and how lucky they are in life and then those who only talk about their problems and how bad life is treating them.
