We like to believe that our home is the safest place to be but it could also be a place for accidents. Working in an office seems safe, right? Accidents can take place there too.
We hear this all the time, ” Accidents do happen.” They really do but is it enough that we accept that they happen normally or is it better that we try to prevent them by being more cautious?

What common accidents at home did the speaker mention?
The speaker mention about his accidents at home, when he has hit his thumb with a hammer.

How did the speaker describe his friend? What does it mean?
The speaker describe his friend as a man’s real accident looking for somewhere to happen. This mean, his friend is a person that he’s looking for accidents wherever it’s happen.

Are you prone to accidents? What kinds of accidents have you gotten into?
No, I’m not prone to accident but I have had a accident a long time ago. I was twenty three years old and I went from Caracas to “Gran Sabana” with my boyfriends by car. He drove and we found on the road a lot of water and he braked quickly and the car slipped and spun. This accident was the worst accident of my live and when I was driving I felt nervous if it was rainning.

How do you try to avoid them? What precautionary measures do you take?
I never have had an accident again, but I take care when I’m driving and it’s rainning, I never brake suddenly and I drive very slowly.

In summary, I am not only focus to avoid accidents for me, but it also works to give recommendations to people for avoid accidents.

Have you witnessed a major accident before? What happened?
No, I have not witnessed a major accident before and I hope I never see one.

my daily life, only small injuries in my job managing tools. I try to avoid them using personal wearing equipment.
The mayor accident which I have been witnessed happened when I was a child.
My parent´s brothers and I were returning from our holidays on the beach. My father was driving our car when one tired burst. We were lucky because my father could control the car and save our lives.
