1. Absolutely, the algorithms take into account your characteristics, your skills, even your personality to match you with a fitting employment. Currently, the way to search for a job is to play dice, sometimes jobs are not what they appear and the descriptions are wrong, or maybe you don’t know yourself well enough to know that a job is not for you.
2. I don’t know any algorithm, but I bet that if they are well programmed and with a “good” source of information, it would work.
3. Fairness is achieved if the algorithm does not take into account non-relevant features, such as your gender, your age or other sensible information.
4. Sometimes the benefits are not enough. If a person is happy about what he does on his day to day, then the benefits or even the salary is not important (it is my case). When you like your work, time passes and you enjoy it. Therefore, an algorithm my be of great help in finding a job you like.
5. I hope that these algorithms become popular and help people finding a good job for their personality and skills. This is important, as you spend the major part of the day working.
Good job on your well-written responses. Keep up the great job!
